Annual Scholarship Program 2011 in “Azercell” company came over

309 students have started to compete in quite a difficult contest for the right to be a scholar. Besides monthly scholarship in the amount of 200 AZN, this right will give students an opportunity to be part of the company as well as participate in interesting business projects, attend different trainings.

First selection stage was to review all applications. Students with the best progress results and the most interesting essays were considered to have passed to next stage. There were 153 of them. All of them were invited to the Head Office of the company. Exams consisted of IQ tests and essays in English.

 

Students who got the best results were allowed to the last selection stage. At this stage students expected to meet managers of different sections of “Azercell” company.

 

“Why should we choose you?” All 30 finalists tried to answer just this question. It was very difficult to choose the most deserving ones among so many young, intelligent, interesting and successful people. Even on this bright background the smartest ones with innovative ideas could stand out. Especially 11 students attracted the attention of jury members by their world vision, creative thinking, amazed by their youthful sincerity and spontaneity.

They answered the main question precisely this way:

Konul Axmedova:

I was chosen due to compliance with important criteria in student assessment, to be exact, due to success achieved in education, world vision and the most important thing for active participation in optional self- developing programs that gave me this opportunity.

Sevinj Tahirova:

I was chosen because the goal of Azercell is to choose purposeful, knowledgeable, responsible, active students that are self-confident, eager to see their own future and the future of their country bright and striving for this with all their might.

Elkhan Hajiyev:

I was chosen because I tried to be very responsible and precise in all stages of scholarship program particularly in the final interview while answering the questions. In my opinion, one of the main incentives that lead us to targets is sincerity and answering the questions frankly in the final round as well as justifiable approach style of the opposite side brought a big success to me. I wish a lot of success to students that will participate in this kind of programs in future.

Samir Dadashzade:

I was chosen because I could introduce myself perfectly to Azercell specialists that invest capital in people and persuade them in being one of those useful youth that Azercell would need. I am grateful to Azercell for this bursary that is the biggest step in my career life to which I came step by step and for stimulating me to make even bigger steps.

Narmin Mehraliyeva:

I was chosen because I was self-confident. This confidence was the result of experience that I read, saw and gained. Simply, there is nothing that can’t be reached. Azercell helped to realize it once again.

Saida Ahmadova:

I was chosen because I could demonstrate concentration of mind; rapidly express the point of view and for creativity that was mainly required from competitors.
In order not to miss the chance that was given to youth by “Azercell” company, I tried to reveal my potential as much as possible at all stages.
Of course, good luck has a sense, too. Some factors should coincide in order to get desirable results. Meanwhile, there is my favorite quotation:” Success is a readiness to use any chance at any time”.

Yasemen Kheyirkheberli

I have been chosen because with an optimistic way of thinking I am able to create a hope and stimulus for realizing services that can seem impossible.
I have been chosen because I can suggest alternative ways by approaching ideas differently.
I have been chosen because getting to know different people as well as being active in social activities and having multifarious interests I could gain wide connections and sociable character.

Shamsi Qumbatzadeh:

I was chosen because really wished for it and set it as an aim. Knowledge, skills and a bit good luck – 3 main factors helped me to be chosen in Scholarship Program held by the company. However, I have to try hard to get such kind of achievements in future. I wish everybody a lot of success.
