Since Azercell began operations in December 1996, the company has invested more than : 600 mln. USD in Azerbaijan.

Taxes

According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Taxes, Azercell Telecom MMC is the second largest taxpayer operating outside of the country’s oil sector. During its first five years of activity, the company paid a total of 400 mln. USD into the state budget and other state funds.
