Azercell Telecom Keeps Expanding Its Interantional Network

Leader of mobile communication of Azerbaijan Azercell Telecom J.V. has concluded two roaming contracts with large foreign carriers — Thuraya Satelite Telecommunications Company (UAE) and SI-MOBIL (Slovenia). Taking into account the importance of high-quality international communication in development of business and economic relationships of Azerbaijan with other countries, Azercell J.V. pays special attention to expansion of partnership with the largest carriers of the world.

Azerbaijan is interested in development of active cooperation with UAE and Slovenia, and in this connection establishment of high-quality communication with subscribers of these countries will become the serious step in this direction. Thuraya Satelite Telecommunications Company, cooperating with leading communication carriers, covers about 2.3 million people in more than 100 countries of Europe, Middle East, Northern and Central Africa, and in the countries of the CIS and South Asia. Subscribers’ base of Thuraya’s satellite communication exceeds 100 thousand users. SI-MOBIL is one of leaders of mobile communication sphere of Slovenia.

Thuraya Satelite Telecommunications Company provides cellular communication services in standard GSM 900, and SI-MOBIL — in standard GSM 900/1800.
