Tax payments

Azercell Telecom JV is one of the largest taxpayers in Azerbaijan. In 2003 alone Azercell Telecom JV paid taxes in amount of $26,509,263. This amount totaled $93,805,897 within 7 years.

Tariffs reduction

• In 2003 Azercell Telecom JV within the framework of “Yarybayary” campaign has reduced cost of talks by 50% within the period between 00:00 and 08:00 for its subscribers. “Yarybayary” campaign duration has been prolonged till the end of 2004.
• Price of talk cards Sim-Sim was reduced by 10—15%.
• Closed numbers activation fee was cancelled.
• International conversations cost was reduced by 30%.
• Roaming deposit cost was reduced by 58%.
• Deposit for international calls was completely cancelled.

Payment centers

For subscribers’ convenience payments centers were opened throughout Azerbaijan. Today payment can be made in more than 76 payment centers. Payment centers network of Azercell Telecom JV covers all large cities of Azerbaijan Republic (except occupied territories), that totally makes 80% of all cities. For Post-Paid subscribers Azercell Telecom JV for the first time in Azerbaijan has given an opportunity to make invoice payments (advance) by means of cash dispensers. For unimpeded provision of clients of Azercell with invoice payment — 230 payment centers are created in the country.
