Concert “Canim Memleketim!” took place in Guba city

The project of singer Zulfiya Khanbabayeva named “Canim memleketim” successfully continues within the framework of the “Milyonlarin kampaniyasi!” launched by Azercell Telecom JV. Her next concert took place on August 5 in Guba city. The first concert on the biggest in the republic movable concert stage took place on July 22 in Ganja.

As in Ganja, trip to Guba started the day before the concert. The creative group of Zulfiya Khanbabayeva was located in Guba’s Olympic centre. On the same day the singer visited the places where she has spent her childhood. The day before the concert Khanbabayeva answered her fans questions on local television channel “Qutb” TV. They asked her about the current condition of cultural life in Azerbaijan and gave praises to her. The singer invited all Guba residents to the concert.

The concert was held up to world standards owing to Azercell’s support. The singer had movable make-up room, stage with 100 sq.metres area and lightning and sound equipment. The creative group helped to hold the concert at a high level.

The second concert of the “Campaign of Millions” gathered many residents of Guba and neighbouring villages as well as other regions and Nabran. Azeri citizens, who are having rest in Nabran, also came to the concert, which started at 9.00 p.m. at the central square in Guba, Aypara group directed by composer Vagif Geraizade opened the concert with anthem of “Campaign of Millions,” which was broadcast by Lider TV channel. The singer thanked her fans and all Azercell’s employees for choosing her hostess of the project. During three hours the singer sang 25 songs without a break. She also sang famous song “Gubanin ag almasi” and other songs specially written for Guba together with the audience.

Having pressed button Stop!, people made 2 of 222 Azercell’s subscribers owners of 20 million manat at a moment.

Zulfiya Khanbabayeva’s songs were accompanied by dance group Todes and she sang a duet with musical band Sual. At the end of the concert Zulfiya Khanbabayeva sang potpourri of her songs and concluded it with the song Azerbaijan, which was accompanied by fireworks.

Azercell Telecom JV will hold open-air concerts with participation of honored singer Zulfiya Khanbabayeva in various Azeri cities and regions during the Campaign twice a month.

The next concerts will be held on August 19 in Sheki, on September 2 in Nakhchivan, on September 16 in Lenkoran and on September 30 in Baku.
