Selected compositions of children took place in “DE!” book!

A Long-awaited collection of children’s poems and stories “DE!” book - is finally published!

By the way, the book was published within the framework of children’s competition for the best poem and story “DE! Dilden-dile Elden-Ele” (Say! Let Your Song Fly around the World), held by Azercell Telecom JV. The competition devoted to the World Azerbaijani’s Solidarity Day, started on November 14, 2004.

The main goal of the project “DE!” was to find talented children. In order to achieve this goal the company had to ensure participation of children from all Azerbaijani regions in the competition. Equal conditions have been provided to all children for participation in the competition. Azercell Telecom has installed special boxes in 64 children’s homes and boarding schools located in 19 Azerbaijani regions and “Azercell Express” offices. The children took part at the competition with great pleasure - they wrote sincere words on the paper and put them into the boxes. All poems and stories sent to the competition have been removed from the boxes and presented to the jury.

The project has reached its goal! The competition has covered the whole Azerbaijan and all people spoke about it! The competition winners were awarded with valuable prizes by Azercell Telecom at the solemn ceremony.

The first prize winners were presented with modern portable computer Laptop with unlimited annual internet connection from Azeronline.

Azercell Telecom put on the account of each second prize winner $2,500 in International Bank of Azerbaijan. The account will grow year after year and children could take money as soon as they attain their majority.

The third prize winners received desktops - personal computers and learning literature for it.

Those who participated, but failed to win the competition, were not forgotten. Their best poems and stories of the participants have been collected in “DE!” book and its presentation has become final of this grandiose project!

The book will be distributed by Azercell Telecom JV among children’s homes and schools.

By holding such competitions with the purpose to find talented children, Azercell Telecom JV will unite children around itself. And Azerbaijani people will know their talented future!
