Azercell Telecom JV visited refugees camps

“Azercell Telecom” JV, leader of Azerbaijan cellular communication market, continues participation in public life of the country for ten years.

It has become a tradition for “Azercell” to keep in the centre of attention indigent section of population. In continuation of this tradition the company has provided food aid to over 3,500 internally displaced people located in the refugee camps Turk Qizil Ay, Arab 1 and Arab 2 in Barda, Agjabedi and Aghdam regions on occasion of Novruz holiday.

Internally displaced people were pleased to see representatives of “Azercell Telecom” JV in the refugee camps on the eve of Novruz holiday. As internally displaced people said, “Azercell Telecom” is the first company that visited arabian refugee camps on this holiday.

Providing of assistance to refugees and internally displaced people occupies a special place in social projects of “Azercell Telecom” JV. Only during the past two years the company has provided aid worth over $1 million to our compatriots driven away from their native lands by Armenian aggressors.

“Azercell Telecom” will further continue taking steps to keep in the centre of attention people in need of social protection. Until return to their native lands our compatriots will be supported by “Azercell Telecom” JV.
