“Azercell Telecom” JV has taken one more step to expand possibilities of its subscribers in usage of mobile communication. This time the company has concluded GPRS/MMS roaming agreement with Pakistan mobile communication operator “Warid Telecom”. Owing to this service, the company’s subscribers in Pakistan could use GPRS/MMS service joining “Warid Telecom” network.

Located in South Asia Islamic Republic Pakistan with capital of Islamabad is among agrarian countries with developed industry. Sugar beet, rice, soya and cotton are mostly cultivated here. In addition, machine-building and metal processing industry is also well developed here. Pakistan expands foreign trade relations mostly with Japan, U.S., China and oil producing countries of Middle East.

New GPRS/MMS roaming service put into operation by “Azercell Telecom” JV and “Warid Telecom” will allow the company’s subscribers that are on a business or tourist trip to Pakistan to use a wide assortment of services of reliable communication.

By present “Azercell Telecom” JV has concluded GPRS/MMS roaming contracts with 41 operators from 26 countries.
