Azercell's representatives visited boarding schools and children’s homes

During 10 years of its activities in Azerbaijan “Azercell Telecom” JV was awarded National Public award “To Pay Attention to Every Child” and remained loyal to its traditions. In new academic year the company’s administration has visited boarding schools and children’s homes. On occasion of the Day of Knowledge Azercell has presented these institutions’ pupils with necessary school-books.

Representatives of “Azercell Telecom” JV have visited Republican special boarding school for deaf children and those left hearing, republican boarding school for orphans and children deprived of parental care in Shuvelan district, boarding school No 2 for orphans and children deprived of parental care in Mardakan district, children’s home No 2 in Yeni Guneshli district and boarding school No 7 in Surakhany district. Presented schoolchildren with school text-books, including exercise books and bags.

“Azercell Telecom” JV General Manager Mr. A. Halim Ates has congratulated schoolchildren on beginning of new academic year and Day of Knowledge and wished them success in their study. He also said that Azercell will further provide assistance required for education and upbringing of children needing care and social protection.

”Azercell Telecom” JV, which is notable for its social projects, always keeps in the centre of attention children, future of the country, and shows concern about them. Providing assistance to children, who need social protection, is an integral part of investment policy of Azercell and this policy will be further continued. During the past 10 years mobile communication operator of the country has spent $5 million to implement the investment policy program.
