RoamCell service comes available for SimSim subscribers in Georgia and Russia

Azercell Telecom JV continues to expand roaming service coverage for its prepaid subscribers besides postpaid subscribers. Now, the roaming service is available for SimSim subscribers in Georgia (Geocell) and Russia (Megafon). Along with this, Azercell Telecom JV’s prepaid customers use roaming service in Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan.

As a proof of its leadership in mobile communications market of the country, Azercell Telecom JV, the company which is targeting the client satisfaction as a priority, launched RoamCELL for pre-paid customers initially in July, 2007, first time ever in Azerbaijan. The service was realized with Turkcell, mobile communications operator of Turkey. To activate the RoamCELL SimSim subscribers need to dial *135*1#YES before leaving Azerbaijan. So, RoamCell enables Azercell’s prepaid customers to feel themselves at home while abroad and make and receive calls to and from everywhere around the world.

Launching this service for the first time in Azerbaijan, Azercell Telecom JV will provide enlarging the RoamCell network for the pre-paid subscribers.
