Azercell Telecom JV supported realization of the two social projects on the occasion of Novruz Holiday!

Esteeming Azerbaijan people’s national and loyal values and considering it as one of its performance priorities, Azercell provided support to the people in need for social protection in the eve of Novruz holiday, which has thousands of years of historical roots and symbols, like fire, spring, semeni (wheat grass grown in tray), khoncha (tray filled fith different sweets and fruits) and abundance. Azercell, the company that always gives attention and takes care of the children – the future of the nation, bought clothes for the disabled and orphan children from families of the refugees, internally displaced persons, martyrs, and gave financial support to holding a holiday event for them in accordance with request by Yasamal district office of the Republican Child Organization. Azercell offered a financial support to the Public Union for Social Support to War Veteran Women, which joins women battled for integrity of Azerbaijan territories as well.

Generally, the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which are in need for social protection, always have the finacial support of Azercell and the mobile service provider continues its activity in this direction. The company contributed 1,9 mln. AZN in 2006 and 4,6 mln.AZN during 10 years for implementation of social projects. These figures show the great importance attributed by Azercell to the corporative social responsibility projects.
