Azercell installs 27 more radio stations in May.

Expanding its field of coverage in Baku and regions in May Azercell Telecom JV made the communication more qualitative for its subscribers. The company installed 27 more stations in Baku and different regions of the country within last month. 16 of them are located in Baku, 2 in Guba, and 9 other stations in Aghdash, Barda, Dashkasan, Davachi, Goranboy, Kurdamir, Gusar, Shamkir and Khachmaz regions.

Azercell Telecom JV successfully continues to expand its field of coverage. The mobile communication leader of Azerbaijan provides the high-quality telecommunication services and continuously increases the number of its radio base stations with aim of providing a qualitative communication all over the country. The results of the last 5 months of the year 2007 shows that Azercell successfully implements its targeted radio base stations’ installation strategy. Azercell has totally installed 2 Home Location Registers (HLR), 13 Base Stations Controller Systems (BSCS), 16 Mobile Services Switching Centers (MSSC) and 1183 Radio Base Stations (RBS).

The mobile communication provider aims to continue inreasing number of its base stations.
