Azercell offers new Mobilbank service

The subscribers of the Azercell Telecom JV are now able to use new MobilBank service, next to thouse, which has no analogue in Azerbaijan. This service enables subscribers to save their time and control their bank accounts, including information about status of the account, latest transactions, pay in and pay out, and also to pay their bills for phone usage and electricity through the mobile phone 24 hours of weekdays and weekends. The MobilBank service is permitted via a PIN code, which is assigned by the customer himself or herself.

To use the MobilBank the Azercell customer needs to join the service first. The subscriber will be able to make transactions using the banking card information via mobile phone. Information about each transaction made by the subscriber using his or her banking card will be sent to his or her mobile phone via SMS, which is to be provided by Azercell. The MobilBank service covers all pre-paid and post-paid subscribers of Azercell, being the cardholders of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA). The IBA cardholders need to join the MobilBank at the Customer Service offices of the Azercell Telecom JV. The subscriber will receive a new special SIM card at he Customer Service office.

He or she needs to apply to the customer service of the bank using the MobilBank service joining rule afterwards. To provide a “joined” status to the subscriber his or her details will be entered to the information system during two working days. The SMS, holding information about the subscriber’s joining to the service will be sent and main menu is downloaded to his or her mobile phone. The MobilBank will cost 0,10 manar to the post-paid subscribers and 22 units to the pre-paid subscribers per each SMS recieved from the number 7112.
