Azerbaijan Championship for Beach Volleyball is held in the country

The competition has been organized with the support of Azercell Telecom

On July 25-26, Azerbaijan Championship for Beach Volleyball has taken place in Crescent Beach Hotel. This competition sponsored by Azercell Telecom LLC has sought the participation of 15 male and 14 female teams. During two days long Championship, Aztelekom among male teams and Avtoretroklub among female teams have won the competition. Volleyball teams which gained first places in the competition have been given honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and valuable gifts from Azercell Telecom. This Championship held in conformity with the Olympic system has been watched by 1500 spectators.

It should be noted that Azercell Telecom has been always supportive to various sports competitions in the country. Since the first days of its activities, the Company has ensured the participation of Azerbaijani sportsmen in local and international tournaments. We have to recall that Azercell Telecom has sponsored several events such as: Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Rabita Baki female volleyball team, Chess Tournaments for President’s Cup, football tournaments and became telecommunication sponsor of Azerbaijan’s National Olympic team in Olympic Games in Athens.
