Number of Azercell subscribers exceeds 3,5 million!

The number of those who choose Azercell as mobile operator continues to grow. This is proved by the last months’ statistical data. During first seven months of the current year, number of Azercell subscribers has increased by 500,000! Today, Azercell with its 3,5 million subscribers is thought to be the mobile operator which covers all territory of the country by offering the highest quality communication services. The number of those who bring the value to the company is growing since its creation in 1996.

While commenting this achievement of 3,5 million of subscribers, Mr.Halim Ateş, CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC has said: “We are growing constantly in the conditions of tough competitiveness. Exceeding 3,5 million level of subscribers demonstrates very clearly this development. I am confident that the number of our subscribers will be increased further. In addition, we create possibilities for our subscribers to benefit both from leading technologies and reasonable tariffs”.

It should be noted that the number of the Company’s subscribers has been 1 million in 2004 and reached 2 million in 2006. It has outnumbered 3 million of Azercell subscribers in the end of the last year, and the Company has decided to award Toyota car to the 3 millionaire subscriber.
