Number of Azercell stations is nearing 1500

The Company has installed 17 radio base stations in September

Expanding coverage area and increasing ever its mobile communication quality are ones of the priorities in the activities of Azercell Telecom LLC. In order to ensure a high quality mobile communication, Azercell installs on permanent basis its radio base stations across all territory of Azerbaijan. In this regard, results of September are praiseworthy because Azercell Telecom LLC installed 17 new radio base stations for subscribers during this month. Among its total amount, 3 stations are installed in Baku, the rest are installed in Agjabedi, Balaken, Barda, Beylagan, Jalilabad, Ganja, Goychay, Goy-gol, Ismayilly, Gakh, Yardimly, Zagatala and Zardab regions.

The number of Azercell stations is to reach the level of 1500. At present the company has 2 Home Location Registers, 15 Base Stations Controller Systems, 12 Mobile Services Switching Centers and 1494 radio base stations.

The increased number of Azercell’s base stations provides its subscribers with the qualitative mobile communication service in every corner of the country.
