“Paint!” Revealed Young Talents

In 2005, we organized a «Paint» competition for school children, for painting on asphalt in the National Park, which was dedicated to International Children’s Day of Defense. Approximately 250 school children, from different schools of Baku, participated in the competition.

Participants demonstrated incredible talent: Asphalt of the National Park was full of the images, painted with colour chalk on the topic “We are Azerbaijanis!” - our national flag, sea, sky, the Sun, Maiden Tower, children holding hand by hand. The Jury consisted of well-known painters, who evaluated the works of the participants and selected winners of the competition in 3 age groups (7-9, 10-12, 13-15). Winners of the First Place were awarded with a PC, holders of Second Place were awarded with mobile telephone, and those, who were in Third Place, were awarded easel and professional painting sets. In addition, a Certificate was given to each of the participants.
