Children Said Their Word!

Our company has friendship relations with children and provides care for them. We organized a poem and story competition among young children called “SAY! - From land to land” Competition, which was dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, started on November 14, 2004.

The key purpose of the project “SAY!” was to reveal talented children from all regions. With this purpose, all children were allowed to participate in the competition, irrespective of the region, family or boarding house in which they live. “Azercell Telecom” JV placed special boxes in 64 boarding houses and boarding schools in 19 regions of our country, also in “Azercell Express” offices. All poems and stories were gathered in these boxes and then submitted to a jury. Winners of the competition were awarded with valuable prizes. But those, who did not win, were not left without attention because all poems and stories of the participants were collected and published in the book titled “SAY!”. We should mention that this book was distributed by our company to children's homes and schools free of charge.
