Support to refugees and IDPs

For 10 years, “Azercell Telecom” LLC has been provided support to refugees and IDPs, who left their native lands in the result of Armenian aggression. On May 9, 2005, "Azercell" distributed food aid to 1,000 IDPs settled in the Narimanov district of Baku, and also more than 3,500 IDPs settled in the following refugee camps in the Barda district «Turkish Red Crescent», “Arab 1”, “Arab 2” and in the Agjabadi and Agdam regions.

It should be mentioned that support to refugees and IDPs has been the focus in the public and social projects of “Azercell”. Just during the last 2 years, our company provided support to our displaced compatriots in the amount of $ 1,000,000 USD.

“Azercell Telecom” is focusing on vulnerable people, who need social care and will continue the works in this field. Our displaced compatriots will be under the care and moral support of “Azercell” until they return to their native lands.
